This house is permitted and construction is to begin very soon. It is the most earth friendly house designed thus far by Newman Building Designs. It features water reclamation, solar and PV panels, drought resistant native species for landscaping, passive heating and cooling elements, and will comfortable year round. The exterior walls are to be built out of insulated concrete forms which provide incredible insulation and never allow for mold, termites or dry wrought. The local climate is very hot in summer and gets cold in the winter. Do to the window sizes and placement, the building is set up to heat in the winter without the aid of burning fuel. The design will also prevent the house from heating in the hot summer by use of stack ventilation, and shading devices.
